What happened ?

On Heritage Days, all Limburgers were invited to show off their picturesque little town to interested visitors. There was plenty to see! Limburg, founded in 1020 as the historic capital of the Duchy of Limburg, showed off its medieval side: its inhabitants in old noble and poor dresses! Old trades, horses and donkeys! It's all there to be admired! From the square, the sounds of a small jazz combo rang out, blowing wind under visitors' wings with their swing! God had blessed the day with fine weather! Visitors could admire the medieval show dry and with the onset of autumn sunshine. The choirs sang! Exciting morality tales were told in the Limbourg gardens by our excellent storytellers! Stonemasons chiselled the local bluestone! Burnt popcorn was served to the children! In the Embassy, guests enjoyed a glass of cross-border friendship! But where were the Embassy residents? That day, the Embassy was open only to the poor - the miserable - who - as in the Middle Ages - were allowed to eat cheese and bacon once a year and also drink good medieval Belgian beer from the Embassy's historic jugs! In the meantime, marry the noble couple in the venerable Saint-Georges church! A very satisfied burgomaster - Valérie Dejardin - toured one of Wallonia's most beautiful sites, historic Limburg! The two-day program was perfectly organized by RSI President Sandra Huberty and her team! Well done! Limburgers and Limburg guests were caught up in a film of medieval Limburg! Heritage Days as they could not have been more beautiful! Many thanks to all participants!
