Ambassade du Pays de Rode becomes a partner of New Bauhaus Europe - The Mega City Europolis becomes a NEB project
With the Europolis project proposal, the Ambassade has established itself as a New European Bauhaus project partner. Cross-border living and working has a long tradition in the Euregio-Meuse-Rhine region. Based on its many years of experience in the border region of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, the Ambassade team has developed proposals that could be exemplary for the whole of Europe. The development of a think tank with the best solutions in all areas of coexistence is intended to plan the living space ahead in an exemplary manner. In line with diversity and universality, cross-border forms of coexistence will be designed in a future-oriented way according to the motto: preserve the good and improve the bad. Conservative and progressive are not opposites, but complementary attitudes that are equally dependent on tradition and progress. The harmonization of nationally different standards while providing the best solutions is intended to untie the Gordian knot of national fixations.
