We are particularly pleased to welcome what is probably Armenia's most renowned trio to the opening of the 1000th anniversary of the Duchy of Limbourg at the Ambassade du Pays de Rode. Armenia, as one of the oldest cultural sites from which Christianity, and thus an essential part of European culture, originated, is uniquely represented by the Khachaturian Trio. What opening could be more suitable as an introduction to the 1000th anniversary of the central cultural region of Europe, the Euregio-Meuse-Rhine, the Duchy of Limbourg? We thank the "European Foundation for Support of Culture" for the generous opportunity to host these wonderful musicians in the capital of the old Duchy of Limbourg.
